Student athletes recognized for work in the classroom

Holmes Community College athletes not only performed well on the playing surfaces this season but did outstanding work in the classroom with 71 being named scholar athletes in the fall (3.4 GPA or higher), 60 in the spring and 63 for both fall and spring semesters with an overall GPA of 2.947.

Seventy-nine student athletes graduated in May. Seventy have been nominated for the MACJC Academic All-State Team (13 for 3.8-4.0 GPA and 57 for 3.25-3.79 GPA) and 28 for the NJCAA Academic Team (6 for 4.0 GPA, 12 for 3.8-3.99 GPA and 10 for 3.6-3.79 GPA).
