Student athletes recognized for work in the classroom

Holmes Community College athletes not only performed well on the playing surfaces this season but did outstanding work in the classroom with 83 being named scholar athletes in the fall (3.4 GPA or higher), 76 in the spring and 82 for both fall and spring semesters with an overall GPA of 2.897.

Eighty-two student athletes graduated in May. Sixty-four have been nominated for the MACJC Academic All-State Team (11 for 3.8-4.0 GPA and 53 for 3.25-3.79 GPA) and 24 for the NJCAA Academic Team (4 for 4.0 GPA, 12 for 3.8-3.99 GPA and 8 for 3.6-3.79 GPA).
