Bulldogs split with Coahoma Tigers, losing 5-1 and winning 10-3

GOODMAN --- The Holmes Community College Bulldog baseball team went to 19-18 overall and 9-11 in the North Division here Wednesday after splitting two games with the Coahoma Tigers, losing 5-1 and winning 10-3.

On April 14, the Bulldogs fell to the Northeast Mississippi Community College Tigers, 8-4 and 11-7, in Goodman in North Division play. On April 11, the Bulldogs defeated the nationally-ranked Itawamba Community College Indians, 4-2 and 9-2, in Fulton. On April 10, the Bulldogs defeated Southwest, Tenn., 3-1, in Goodman. The Bulldogs fell to the Northwest Mississippi Community College Rangers in Senatobia, 6-2 and 4-0.
