Browning to play in the Florida State League All-Star Game

Former Holmes Community College Bulldog Wil Browning from Sallis has been chosen to play in the 54th Florida State League All-Star Game Saturday night in Port St. Lucie, Fla. at Tradition Field.

Browning currently pitches for the Dunedin Blue Jays in Advanced A Ball. He has also pitched for the New Hampshire Fisher Cats this season in AA.

For the season, Browning has appeared in 21 games and has a 3.00 ERA with 11 saves. He has pitched 24 innings with 28 strikeouts and five walks and given up 19 hits and eight runs. Teams are batting .216 against him.

For his career, Browning has a 2.14 ERA appearing in 134 games and has a 13-5 record and 19 saves. He has given up 113 hits and 49 runs with 206 strikeouts and 55 walks.
