Bulldog baseball returns six players to 2015-16 team

GOODMAN --- The Holmes Community College Bulldog baseball team has six returning players to this 2015-16 team.

Returning players include: Jarvis Griffith, outfielder, Taylorsville; Carr McMorris, right-handed pitcher/outfielder, Taylorsville; Cody Greer, right-handed pitcher, Water Valley; Geoffrey King, infielder, Southaven; Michael Harrison; right-handed pitcher, Magee; and Tyler Hines, catcher, Morton.

Newcomers include: Chase Allen, right-handed pitcher, Florence; Jalyn Baker, infielder, Clinton; Tyrance Carr, infielder, Clinton; Caleb Collier, infielder, Canton; Shelby Craddock, right-handed pitcher, Grenada; Dylan Creel, infielder/right-handed pitcher, Clinton; Sloan Dieter, right-handed pitcher/DH, Lake Charles, La.; Ben Hudson, right-handed pitcher/infielder, Kosciusko; Justin Hutton, outfielder, Byram; Will Hyche, right-handed pitcher, Brandon; Corbin Jamerson, outfielder, Clinton; Luke Lambert, outfielder, Gonzales, La.; Powell McCaleb, catcher, Yazoo City; Nick McCrory, right-handed pitcher, Morton; Colin Merritt, infielder, Fort Worth, Texas; Drew Pankratz, catcher/infielder, Taylorsville; Scott Shearer, left-handed pitcher, Independence; Christian Smith, outfielder, Carriere; Ryan Stickler, infielder, Madison; Peyton Sullivan, right-handed pitcher, Mize; and Brodie Threet, catcher, Kosciusko. Baker, Hudson, Smith and Stickler are sophomores.

The Bulldogs open the season on Feb. 5 at 2 p.m. versus Faulkner University JV with a 5 p.m. versus Wallace, Selma, Ala. to follow. The games will be played at Wallace-Selma, Ala.
