Bulldog end season with a sweep of Wildcats

GOODMAN --- The Holmes Community College Bulldogs went into Tuesday's doubleheader with Pearl River Community College needing a sweep of the Wildcats and also help to make it to the postseason. The Bulldogs got the sweep but were unable to make the postseason. The Bulldogs won game one, 10-0, and game two, 4-0.

With the wins, the Bulldogs went to 22-22 overall and 13-15 in the MACJC to finish the season.

In game one, Scott Shearer got the win and ended the season with a record of 6-2. He gave up one runs on four hits with two strikeouts and two walks. Carr McMorris led the Bulldogs with three hits while Jarvis Griffith and Dylan Creel had two each. Geoffery King had a double.

In game two, Shelby Craddock got the win and finished the season with a record of 5-4. Craddock gave up four hits and had six strikeouts. Luke Lambert led the Bulldogs with two hits.
