Cheerleaders bring home awards from UCA Camp

The Holmes Community College Bulldog Cheerleaders participated in the UCA College Spirit Camp at the University of Alabama in Tuscaloosa.

The squad brought home superior ribbons in cheer and chant evaluations, fourth place in chant and an overall superior trophy for spirit, participation, attitude and effort.

The Bulldog mascot received excellent and superior ribbons during evaluation and a superior trophy for overall evaluation.

Squad members for 2011-12 include: Mary Kate Jenkins, ShaRonda Wingo, Chelsie McNeer, Jeff Compton, John David Russell, Jerry Wayne Burchfield, Anthony Cross, Joanna Franks and Jordan Coleman, Kosciusko; Ciara Applewhite, Moss Point; Sara Egan Jones and Alex Chandler, Benton; Josh Clark and Jenna Clark, Isola; Brittany Horn, Greenville; Ty Christian, D'juan Deere and Martez Baldwin, Winona; Lajoe Johnson, Canton; and Fred Borganelli, Indianola.
