F.A.S.T. program shows immediate results

Fifty-seven Holmes Community College football players held a team 2.93 GPA during the second term of summer school on the Goodman Campus. Thirty-two achieved a 3.0 or higher GPA.

Of the 121 classes, players had 28 As, 54 Bs and 38 Cs.

The coaching staff has implemented the F.A.S.T. (Football Accountability and Scholastic Training) program for the team. The F.A.S.T. program helps the players excel in the classroom.

"We are very proud of the success the players achieved during summer school," Holmes Head Football Coach Jeff Koonz said. "I am also proud of the coaching staff on the implementation of the F.A.S.T. program and seeing the players execute it for the first time. "
