Four Bulldogs sign with four-year colleges on Wednesday

Four members of the Holmes Community College Bulldog football team inked with four-year universities yesterday.

Dre Massey, a sophomore from Greenville, S.C., will take his talents to the University of Florida Gators next season. Massey, who was named All-State and All-Region, finished the season with 452 rushing yards on 59 carries and three touchdowns. He also caught 21 passes for 548 yards and six touchdowns.

Tripp Janssen, a sophomore from Starkville, started two years along the offensive front for the Bulldogs and will play next season at the University of Arkansas at Monticello.

Joining Massey and Janssen from this year's team is A'Darius Benson from Crystal Springs. Benson finished the 2015 season with six catches for 91 yards and a touchdown and will play at Delta State University next season.

Broderick Fordham, who played for the Bulldogs during the 2014 season, will play at Delta State University with Benson. Fordham finished the 2014 season with 51 tackles including three sacks and two tackles for loss.

More signees are expected in the coming days.
