Bulldogs win 2011-12 opener over East Central Warriors

DECATUR --- The Holmes Community College Bulldogs took the season opener here Thursday night by 21 points over the East Central Community College Warriors, 84-63.

The Bulldogs will return to action on Monday night at 7 p.m. versus the Pearl River Wildcats. The game can be watched live at http://www.ustream.tv/channel/holmes-cc-bulldogs-basketball-2011.

DeAndre Scott led the Bulldogs in scoring with 21 points. Demarcus Lewis followed with 13 and Emmanuel Dias had 10. The Bulldogs led 40-29 at halftime.
