Macon named MACJC Player of the Week for the second time

GOODMAN --- Holmes Community College sophomore guard Daryl Macon has been named the MACJC Player of the Week for the second time in consecutive weeks for his play last week.

Macon from Little Rock, Ark. averaged 26 points, four rebounds and three assists in three Bulldog wins last week. Macon had 39 points and 11 rebounds in a win Thursday over Hinds. Holmes also defeated Pearl River and Southern-Shreveport.

He is tied for second in the NJCAA in points per game with a 26.3 per game average. 

He'll now be considered for the NJCAA Player of the Week.
