Bulldogs finish 10th in first MACJC Tournament of the season

DIAMONDHEAD --- The Holmes Community College men's golf team played Sunday and Monday in the MACJC's first event here and finished in 10th place. Trey Johnson finished the tournament tied for 35th shooting 33 over-par for the two days.

The team shot a 372 on Sunday and improved to 365 on Monday. Johnson finished tied for 37th on Sunday shooting a 16 over-par and shot 17 over-par on Sunday. Others scores for the two days included: John Jolly (41 over-par); Taylor Worsham (45 over-par); Ben Herrington (47 over-par); Tyler James (48 over-par); and Chase Ward (49 over-par).

The team returns to action on March 2 and 3 at Eagle Ridge on the campus of Hinds Community College in Raymond.
