Bulldog roster stretches from Mississippi-Tennessee line to the Gulf Coast

The Holmes Community College Bulldog Soccer Team features players all the way from the Mississippi-Tennessee line all the way to the Mississippi Gulf Coast.

Six sophomores are on this year's team, who will be trying to repeat last year's season as they made it to the MACJC State Tournament. Sophomores include: Taylor Leddy, goalkeeper, Brandon; Kyle Loggins, defender, Center Hill; Ulysses Vazquez, midfielder, Horn Lake; and Carlisle Widdig, defender, Central Hinds Academy; Chris Byers, defender, St. Joseph; and Zach Lott, defender, Pearl.

Other Bulldog freshman players include: Anthony Chambers, defender and Nick Sims, midfielder, boht of Murrah; Joel Culpepper, forward, Gulfport; Bryan Diaz, midfielder, Grace King in Kenner, La.; Christian Eslava, midfielder, Educational Center; Willie Goliday, forward, Madison Central; Travis Haas, defender, Vicksburg; Charlie Hancock, goalkeeper, East Jefferson in Metarie, La.; Jack Winston, midfielder and Travis Offield, defender, both of Horn Lake; Cameron Lomonaco and Zach Martin, midfielders, both of Desoto Central; Brett Vanderford, defender, Drew Pegues, forward, and Wesley Noble, midfield, all of Brandon; Hunter Randall, midfielder, Center Hill; Justin Parker, goalkeeper, Biloxi; Erron Monroe, midfielder and Keithen Ratliff, defender, both of Callaway.

The Bulldogs open play tomorrow versus Jones at 4 p.m. at Freedom Ridge Park in Ridgeland.
