2017 All-Star Match ends in 2-2 tie

RIDGELAND --- Holmes Community College served as host of the 2017 MACJC Men's and Women's Soccer All-Star Matches on Saturday at Freedom Ridge Park in Ridgeland. The match ended in a 2-2 tie.

Holmes had three players chosen to participate in the match --- Jacob McNeely, Skyler Schmidt and Rolando Sanchez.

On the men's side, Hinds' Josh Parron put the North up 1-0. Holmes' Jacob McNeely put the North up 2-0 before the South scored twice in the second half on goals from Meridian's Pedro Dutra and Gulf Coast's Jordan Hall.

Sanchez was chosen as the North MVP while Dutra was chosen as the South's MVP.
