It's crunch time for the Lady Bulldogs as the season nears end; must finish fourth or better to make the MACJC Tournament

With a little less than two weeks left in the regular season, the Holmes Community College Lady Bulldogs are two games over .500 in the North Division and are in fifth place in the division and are battling their way for a playoff spot in the MACJC State Tournament with only four doubleheaders remaining.

The Lady Bulldogs are 13-23 overall and are 9-7 in the North Division. The Lady Bulldogs have already played both Northeast Mississippi Community College and Itawamba Community College four times this season and have finished their season series. The Lady Bulldogs have defeated the Lady Tigers three out of four games and fell to the Lady Indians in all four games of the season series.

The Lady Bulldogs took two games from Coahoma and Mississippi Delta and still have doubleheaders with those teams remaining on the schedule. Holmes will play a doubleheader Mississippi Delta in Goodman on April 17 and then will play at Coahoma in  a doubleheader on April 20.

Holmes, Northwest Mississippi Community College and East Mississippi Community College have split their contests in two prior meetings. The Lady Bulldogs will travel to Northwest on Saturday for a doubleheader and then will host East Mississippi in a doubleheader in Goodman on April 23.

The top four seeds of each division will be invited to the MACJC State Tournament, which will be held at the South Division No. 1, which looks to be Mississippi Gulf Coast Community College at this time.
