Lady Bulldogs split with Lady Rangers
SENATOBIA --- The Holmes Community College Lady Bulldogs and the Northwest Mississippi Community College Lady Rangers split here Saturday. Northwest won game one, 8-0, while the Lady Bulldogs won game two, 3-2.
Kelsey Marter suffered the loss in game one pitching four innings giving up three runs on five hits striking out two. Victoria Hunt, Keana Wash, Michelle Gregory, Charneissa Gordon, Samantha Meadows, Kaitlyn Hicks and Lauren Tharp each had one hit.
Marter picked up the win in game two pitching a complete game. She gave up two runs on four hits striking out three. Hicks led the Lady Bulldogs with three hits. Karina Brown had two hits while Hunt, Gordon and Marter each had one hit.
