Lady Bulldogs take two from Coahoma, 18-0 and 23-1

CLARKSDALE --- The Holmes Community College Lady Bulldogs made it eight games in a row today in Clarksdale as the Lady Bulldogs took two games from Coahoma, 18-0 and 23-1.

With the win, the Lady Bulldogs improve to 16-8 overall and 9-5 in the North Division. Holmes travels to East Mississippi on Wednesday, April 1 at 3/5 p.m.

In game one, Brett Whitlock picked up the win. She went three innings and gave up one hit with three strikeouts and two walks. Hayden Grantham and A'Breana Yarbrough each had three hits with Yarbrough adding a double. Abby Stafford and Lindsey Robbins each had two hits. Anna Garza also had a double.

In game two, Reagan Aldridge picked up the win. She went three innings and gave up one run on one hit with one strikeout and one walk. Kassey Ard pitched one inning and struck out two. Charlesy Lovorn led the Lady Bulldogs with three hits including a double while Kelsey Kelly, Yarbrough, Blair Little and Stafford each had two hits with Kelly and Darrien Dykes each adding a homerun and Little, Kelly, Waltman, Robbins and Shelby Hoover each adding a double while Yarbrough added a triple.
