Lady Bulldogs suffer Round 1 loss to Co-Lin

CLINTON – The Holmes Community College Lady Bulldogs fell to the Copiah-Lincoln Lady Wolves, 65-41, in the opening round of the NJCAA Region 23 Tournament at Mississippi College.

After trailing 4-2 early in the first half, the Lady Wolves went on a 22-3 run to take a 24-7 lead with 6:43 left in the half. Co-Lin took a 32-18 advantage into the locker room at halftime.

Dierra Gilmore led the Lady Bulldogs with 12 points. Louise Collins pulled down 10 rebounds. Gilmore was named All-Tournament.
