Lady Bulldogs finish the first half of the North Division with a 5-1 record

GOODMAN --- The Holmes Community College Lady Bulldogs trailed the Lady Indians of Itawamba by nine at halftime and got to within striking distance in the second half, but the Itawamba came out on top in the key North Division matchup, 71-63.

With the loss, the Lady Bulldogs fell to 12-3 overall and 5-1 in the North Division. The Lady Bulldogs travel to East Mississippi on Thursday at 5:30 p.m. The game can be seen live at holmesathletics.ihigh.com.

Louise Collins led the Lady Bulldogs in scoring with 18 points while Kierra Gilmore had 15, Amber Clay 12 and Dierra Gilmore 10. Louise Collins led the Lady Bulldogs with nine rebounds while Jessica Miles had eight and Amber Clay seven.
