GOODMAN --- The Holmes Community College Lady Bulldogs jumped out early here Monday night on the Mississippi Delta Community College Lady Trojans and pulled out a 66-44 win. Four Lady Bulldogs scored in double figures to help pull out the win.
With the win, the Lady Bulldogs improved to 8-11 on the season and 3-5 in the North Division. Holmes hosts Coahoma on Thursday night in a "Pink Out the Branch" game. Fans are asked to wear pink in support of Breast Cancer Awareness. Thursday's game can be watched live at holmesathletics.ihigh.com.
Denesha Dillard led the Lady Bulldogs with 16 points while Krystal Baker had 11 and Jessica Miles and Karla Levy each had 10 points. Miles had a double-double by adding 10 rebounds. Holmes led 30-20 at halftime.
