Lacy, Carpenter and Pimpton to participate in MACJC All-Star Game

The Holmes Community College Lady Bulldogs will have three players participating in the 2018 MACJC Basketball All-Star Game on April 13 at East Central Community College in Decatur at 5 p.m.

Sophomores Kamelia Lacy, Nina Carpenter and Vaquela Pimpton will represent Holmes in the annual all-star game.

The Lady Bulldogs are coming off appearances in the MACJC and Region XXIII Tournaments and a North Division championship.

Lacy, a sophomore guard from Lexington, averaged 13.3 points per game. She shot 43.5 percent from the floor, 37 percent from the three-point line and 69.6 percent from the free-throw line. She averaged 3 rebounds, 2.3 assists and 1.2 steals per game.

Carpenter, a sophomore center from Las Vegas, Nev., averaged 9.9 points per game. She shot 49.5 percent from the floor and 54.2 percent from the free-throw line. She averaged 9.8 rebounds, .4 assists and .7 steals per game.

Pimpton, a sophomore guard from Webb, averaged 9.9 points per game. She shot 33.3 percent from the floor, 26.5 percent from the three-point line and 72.7 percent from the free-throw line. She averaged 4.7 rebounds, 4.4 assists and 2.1 steals per game.
