Student athletes recognized for work in the classroom during 2022-23 school year

Holmes Community College athletes not only performed well on the playing surfaces this season but did outstanding work in the classroom with 75 being named scholar athletes in the fall (3.4 GPA or higher), 58 in the spring and 72 for both fall and spring semesters with an overall GPA of 2.86.

One hundred and nineteen student athletes graduated during the 2022-23 school year. Seventy-three have been nominated for the MACCC Academic All-State Team (26 for 3.8-4.0 GPA and 47 for 3.25-3.79 GPA) and 51 for the NJCAA Academic Team (20 for 4.0 GPA, 6 for 3.8-3.99 GPA and 25 for 3.6-3.79 GPA).
