Holmes places 36 on NJCAA All-Academic Team for 2022-23

The National Junior College Athletic Association has announced the 2022-23 NJCAA All-Academic teams. 10,267 athletes across the country earned a GPA or high over the course of the academic year. Holmes Community Collge placed 36 on this year's team.

NJCAA Academic Awards (first team, 4.0 GPA; second team, 3.8-3.99 GPA; and third team, 3.6-3.79 GPA) for 2021-22 include: First Team –Colton DeShazo, Hunter Barron, Ryan Davis, Cole Moudy, Evan Scott, Connor Wallace, Lanie Potter, Matthew Hackler, Caleb Jones, Jaelyn Hanson, Karly Murphy, Lillian Harvey, AnnaLeigh Jones, Leah Kinard and Lanie Phillips; Second Team – Patrick Vallean, John Paul Buckner, Ryan Wood, Jacob Duncan; Third Team – McKinna Smith, Emmagail Kelley, Will Carter, Ethan Wood, Cooper Herrington, Brianna Lopez, Katelynn Gipson, Michael Whitmore, Nyjal Johnson, Whitney McCarter, Abbott Hankins, Jaden Clinton, Jackson Dollar, Carmen Mason, Makenzie Hankins, Niyonizigiye Claude and Hayden Beall.
