Holmes athletes recognized for work in the classroom
Holmes Community College athletes not only performed well on the playing surfaces this season but did outstanding work in the classroom with 43 being named scholar athletes in the fall (3.4 GPA or higher), 78 in the spring and 62 for both fall and spring semesters with an overall GPA of 2.76.
One hundred and seventeen student athletes graduated during the 2023-24 school year. Sixty-two have been nominated for the MACCC Academic All-State Team (19 for 3.8-4.0 GPA and 43 for 3.25-3.79 GPA) and 37 for the NJCAA Academic Team (8 for 4.0 GPA, 11 for 3.8-3.99 GPA and 18 for 3.6-3.79 GPA).
