Shelly, Wallace named Holmes CC's Players of the Week

GOODMAN --- Holmes Community College freshman guard/forward Kiara Shelly on the women's basketball team and sophomore forward Cameron Wallace on the men's basketball team have been named Holmes Community College Players of the Week following their play last week.

Shelly, a North Pontotoc product from Saltillo, had 32 points in two games and pulled in nine rebounds. Holmes picked up MACCC wins over Northwest and Southwest.

Wallace, a Parkview product from Little Rock, Ark., had 47 points in two games and 14 rebounds. Holmes picked up two MACCC wins over Northwest and Southwest.
