Miles, Buckner named Holmes CC's Players of the Week

GOODMAN --- Holmes Community College sophomore Jadyn Miles on the softball team and sophomore John Paul Buckner on the baseball team have been named Holmes Community College Players of the Week following their play last week.

Miles, a Morton product from Morton, batted .400 for the week going 4-for-10.

Buckner, a Starkville Academy product from Starkville, went seven innings against Baton Rouge and picked up the win. He gave up one run on two hits with seven strikeouts and one walk.
