71 named to MACCC Academic All-State Team

Seventy-one Holmes Community College student athletes have been named to the MACCC Academic All-State Team for the 2024-25 school year.

For the Distinguished Academic All-State Team (3.8-4.0 GPA) the list included: Wes Bishop, John Paul Buckner, Parker Simpson and Aidan Bellman, baseball; Colton DeShazo, Easton Sartin, Charlie Fair, Johnny Holly and Jay Matthews, football; Stevie Kerns, Emma Korhonen, Akala Jacobs, Anna Korhonen, Jacie Rouse and Katie Smith, women's soccer; Bella Roberts, women's basketball; Alejandro Robles, men's soccer; Kendall Williamson, Jordan Leech and Colten Kimble, men's tennis; Megan Brewer, Cinclaire Simpson and Jadyn Miles, softball.

For the Academic All-State Team (3.25-3.79 GPA) the list included: Anne Elise Sartin, Meg Glasgow, Kaitlyn Cortez, Lennie Kate Wood, Gracie Boland, Gracie Williams, Mallory Thibodaux, Allie Vicknair and Mollie Swilley, softball; Cade Clinton, Thomas Kuhn, Landon Wallace, Vince Glorioso, Jacob Lott, Xavier Myles, Will McClure, Josh Fleming, J.P.
