Forty student athletes named to NJCAA Academic Team for 2024-25

Forty Holmes Community College student athletes have been named to the 2024-25 NJCAA Academic Team.

NJCAA Academic Awards (first team, 4.0 GPA; second team, 3.8-3.99 GPA; and third team, 3.6-3.79 GPA) for 2024-25 include: First Team – Wes Bishop, John Paul Buckner and Parker Simpson, baseball; Alejandro Robles, men's soccer; Bella Roberts, women's basketball; Colton DeShazo, Easton Sartin, football; Emma Korhonen, Stevie Kerns, women's soccer; Kendall Williamson, men's tennis; Second Team – Akala Jacobs, Anna Korhonen, Jacie Rouse, Katie Smith, women' soccer; Jordan Leech, Colten Kimble, men's tennis; Aidan Bellman, baseball; Megan Brewer, Cinclaire Simpson, Jadyn Miles, softball; Jay Matthews and Johnny Holly, football; Third Team – Anne Elise Sartin, Meg Glasgow, Kaitlyn Cortez, Lennie Kate Wood, Gracie Boland, softball; Cade Clinton, Thomas Kuhn, Landon Wallace, baseball;  Amanda Walker, Kelsey Joseph, Kamren Edwards, women's basketball; Jeremy Heflin, Marcus Moore, men's soccer; Casen Shurden, Eli Lewis, Gage Smith, men's tennis; John Ford, football; Christina Guzman, women's soccer. 

Team nominations for NJCAA Academic Teams of the Year include: men's tennis, 3.51 GPA; softball, 3.29 GPA; baseball, 3.21 GPA; women's soccer, 3.15 GPA; and women's basketball, 3.14 GPA.
