Sims, Richardson named Holmes CC's Players of the Week

GOODMAN --- Holmes freshman midfielder Tyler Grace Sims on the women's soccer team and sophomore quarterback Chase Richardson on the football team have been named Holmes CC's Players of the Week for their play last week.

Sims, a Northwest Rankin product from Brandon, scored two goals in Holmes' two wins last week vs. Itawamba, 3-0, and Meridian, 5-0.

Richardson, a Winona High product from Winona, threw for 413 yards and three touchdowns and rushed 18 times for 80 yards and another score. The Bulldogs improved to 2-2 and 2-0 in the North with a 43-27 win over Northeast.
