Sutton, Gilmore named Holmes CC's Players of the Week

GOODMAN --- Holmes freshman freshman forward Mallory Sutton on the women's soccer team and sophomore linebacker Kebian Gilmore on the football team have been named Holmes CC's Player of the Week for their play last week.

Sutton, a Saint Amant, La. product from St. Amant, scored two goals and added an assist last week in wins over Co-Lin and East Miss. for the No. 2 Lady Bulldogs. The Lady Bulldogs play for the MACCC title on Tuesday night at Hinds at 5 p.m.

Gilmore, a Clarksdale product from Clarksdale, finished Thursday's Homecoming contest with nine tackles (three solos, six assists).
