Shelly, Alexander named Holmes CC's Players of the Week

GOODMAN --- Holmes sophomore guard/forward Kiara Shelly on the women's basketball team and sophomore guard Trey Alexander on the men's basketball team have been named Holmes CC's Player of the Week for their play last week.

Shelly, a North Pontotoc product from Saltillo, scored 22 points in Holmes' 93-51 win over Delgado last week.

Alexander, a Clinton High product from Clinton, scored 27 points last week in two games. He averaged 2.5 rebounds and six assists per game.
