Bulldogs sweep Hinds Eagles in season finale
RAYMOND --- The Holmes Community College Bulldogs ended the 2026 season with a double header sweep of the Hinds Community College Eagles here Tuesday, 8-4 and 14-4.
In game one, Lane Robertson got the start and picked up the win. He went 7 2/3 innings and had six strikeouts and four walks. Mac Griffin and Ethan Trimble also pitched in the game. Wes Bishop and Jack Harkins each had two hits with Bishop adding a three-run HR and a double.
In game two, Warner Young got the start and picked up the complete game win. He went five innings and had two strikeouts. J.R. North led with three hits including three doubles. Charley Dunn and Jack Harkins each had two hits with Dunn adding a double. Ethan Trimble and Sam Roy also doubled in the game.
