Six members of the Holmes football team named North Division All-Stars

Six members of the Holmes Community College Bulldog football team are set to participate in Thursday's MACJC All-Star game at Northeast Mississippi Community College. The game is set for 1 p.m. and can be watched live at nemcctv.com.

Chosen to participate are Antreon Bennett, Jamario Benson, Mitchell Cunningham, David Hendershot, De'MonTerius Kendrick and Ryhean McMorris. Holmes Head Coach Jeff Koonz will serve as the head coach of the North Division. He'll be assisted by the remaining head coaches from the North Division.

Bennett tied for the team lead in tackles with 51. He had two sacks and six tackles for loss. Benson had 474 yards on 153 carries with three touchdowns while Cunningham led the Bulldogs with 679 rushing yards on 112 carries with seven touchdowns.

Hendershot was the Bulldog center in 2014. Kendrick was credited with 10 tackles with one tackle for loss for five yards. He also had 12 kickoff returns for 305 yards and one touchdown from 86 yards out while McMorris finished the season with 37 tackles with one tackle for loss, two interceptions and three passes broken up.
