Davis named NJCAA/MACCC Special Teams Player of the Week

GOODMAN --- Holmes Community College sophomore wide receiver A.J. Davis IV has been named the National Junior College Athletic Associaton and the Mississippi Association of Community Colleges Conference Special Teams Player of the Week for his play in Holmes' 34-31 win over the Northeast Mississippi Community College Tigers last Thursday in Madison.

Against Northeast, Davis had two punt returns for 90 yards including a 90-yard punt return for a touchdown. He also caught 10 passes for 106 yards in the game.
