BOONEVILLE --- The Holmes Community College Bulldogs had their chances here Thursday night against the Northeast Mississippi Community College Tigers but 29 points by Northeast's Acie Vance proved to the difference in the game.
With the loss, the Bulldogs fell to 8-7 on the season and 2-2 in the North Division. The Bulldogs travel to Coahoma on Saturday at 7 p.m. and then host Northwest at 8 p.m. on Monday. Monday's game can be seen live at holmesathletics.ihigh.com.
Demarcus Lewis led the Bulldogs with 19 points while Cody James had 13 included three three-pointers, Travis Johnson had 12 and Tamarico Wilson had 10. James led the Bulldogs with six rebounds.
