GOODMAN --- After losing four straight North Division games, the Holmes Community College Bulldogs got back on the right track here Monday night with a 62-55 win over the Mississippi Delta Community College Trojans.
With the win, the Bulldogs improved to 9-10 overall and 3-5 in the North Division. Holmes will host Coahoma Community College on Thursday night in a "Pink Out the Branch" game. All fans are asked to wear pink to the game for Breast Cancer Awareness. The game can be seen at holmesathletics.ihigh.com.
DeAndre Scott hit five three-pointers and finished the game with 26 points while Demarcus Lewis had 13. Holmes led 27-24 at halftime.
