GOODMAN --- The Holmes Community College Bulldogs went to 8-2 on the season here Tuesday night with a dominating 86-62 win over the Hinds Community College Eagles.

Holmes jumped out early and never looked holding a 14-point lead at halftime, 36-22 and increased the lead to 30 at 82-52 with four minutes to play.
The Holmes Bulldogs had five players in double figures. Justin McCleary led the Bulldogs with 20 points including five three-pointers while Iury Dixon had 16 points with three three-pointers and Tamarico Wilson, Jarvis Williams and Dayshawn Watkins each had 11. Williams hit two from downtown. Wilson led the Bulldogs in rebounds with seven while McCleary had six.
