Wilson, Johnson and Nalls named All-State
GOODMAN --- Holmes Community College had three players named to the MACJC All-State for their play during the 2013-14 season. Lady Bulldog Carmesha Nalls of Lexington was the only player named to the First Team while Bulldog Tamarico Wilson and Lady Bulldog Taylor Johnson were named to the Second Team.
Nalls of Lexington led the Lady Bulldogs in scoring with 15.9 points per game. She played 33 minutes per game, shot 38 percent from the floor and 35.2 percent from three-point line, 50.6 percent from the free throw line, had 3.4 rebounds per game, 1.3 assists and 2.4 steals per game.
Wilson of Tchula averaged 12.4 points per for the Bulldogs this season. He played 31.8 minutes per game and was 100-of-218 from the floor or 45.9 percent. He shot 71.4 percent from the free throw line, averaged four rebounds, 1.5 assists and one steal per game.
Johnson of Memphis averaged 7.5 points per game. She played 24.6 minutes per game, shot 32.1 percent from the floor, 64.4 percent from the free throw line and had 6.1 rebounds per game.
