SENATOBIA --- The Holmes Community Bulldogs shot nearly 60 percent from the floor and 62.5 percent from the three-point line here to knock off the Northwest Mississippi Community College Rangers, 86-64, to move to 8-6 overall and 2-1 in the North Division.

Northwest led by eight points with 16:01 to play in the first half. The Bulldogs then mounted their comeback and led 41-29 at halftime. Holmes had as much as a 26-point lead in the second half with 10:32 to play in the game. The Bulldogs then outscored the Rangers, 45-35, in the second half to pull out the big win.
Trevais Spencer and Mikkel Norment each had 20 points in the contest. Spencer hit four three-pointers and was 8-of-15 from the floor while Norment hit two three-pointers and was 7-of-12 from the floor. Stanley Williams and Justin Johnson each added 14 points while Johnson had seven rebounds and Spencer had six.
