GOODMAN --- The Holmes Community College Bulldogs went to 14-8 overall and 8-3 in the North Division here Monday night with a 94-67 win over the Tigers of Coahoma Community College.
Holmes finishes the regular season on Thursday at East Mississippi at 7:30 p.m.
The Bulldogs scored 52 points in the first half to lead 52-29. Holmes then outscored the Tigers 42-38 in the second half to secure the win.
Holmes shot 52.1 percent from the floor and 93.8 percent from the free-throw line.
D'Michael Stribling scored 17 points for the Bulldogs while Jonah Simpson and Joshua Everette each had 13, Keyante Newell had 11 and Mikkel Norment and Marquell Carter each had 10. Carter finished with 12 rebounds while Newell had eight.
