Holmes County Classic set for Oct. 31 in Goodman

The schedule and safety guidelines for the Oct. 31 Holmes County Classic at Holmes Community College in Goodman have been released.

The schedule includes: Yazoo County vs. Northwest Rankin, girls, 10:30 a.m.; Yazoo County vs. Columbus, boys, noon; Canton vs. South Pike, girls, 1:30 p.m.; Canton vs. South Pike, boys, 3 p.m.; Velma Jackson vs. Yazoo City, girls, 4:30 p.m.; Holmes County Central vs. Brandon, girls, 6 p.m.; and Holmes County Central vs. Yazoo City, boys, 7:30 p.m.

The following safety guidelines will be followed: masks are required inside Frank Branch Coliseum; team locker rooms will be disinfected following each team's use; team benches will be disinfected before each game; water coolers will be available and teams must bring their own cups/water bottles; trainers will be available; all attendees will have their temperature checked before entering the gym; sanitizer stations will be available through the coliseum; and social distancing will be in effect.

Tickets are $7 each.
