DECATUR --- The Holmes Community College Bulldogs picked up a big win over East Central Community College here Friday to keep their playoff hopes alive.
With the win, the Bulldogs went to 8-5-1 overall and 2-4-1 in the division. East Central scored first in the match on a goal by Clint McGraw. Garrett Watson then scored on an assist from Hunter Warren and Michael Wood and Ryan Olson then scored two goals in the second half to give the Bulldogs the 3-1 win.
Holmes hosts Hinds on Wednesday at 7 p.m. at Freedom Ridge in Ridgeland.
