Davidson and Harris commit to four-year universities
Sophomore defender Kyle Davidson (Vicksburg, MS/Vicksburg HS) and sophomore goalie Ryan Harris (Brandon, MS/Northwest Rankin High School) recently made commitments to play soccer at the university level.
Harris, president of the Ridgeland Campus' national honor society will play at the College of Our Lady of the Elms in Springfield, MA. He joins an Elms College side that is coming off back-to-back NCAA tournament appearances.
Davidson will join the LSU Alexandria Generals for their inaugural NAIA season. Davidson will be joined by additional recruits from some of the most competitive NJCAA programs, youth clubs and high schools in the country.
"I am proud of these two student athletes and am excited for their futures," Head Men's Soccer Coach Matt Convertino said. "Ryan has spent his two years at Holmes very wisely and has gotten very involved in our campus. He has evolved as both a student as well as an athlete. It has been great to see Kyle grow as well. He has led our team on the field for two season, was both an NJCAA and NSCAA selection and continues to mature as a student athlete."
