Goggans named MACJC Goalkeeper of the Week

RIDGELAND -- Freshman goalkeeper Colby Goggans of Purvis has been named the MACJC Goalkeeper of the Week for his play last week versus Northwest and East Central.

Goggans played 180 minutes and gave up two goals with seven saves on nine shots-on-goal. Holmes defeated Northwest, 3-1, and East Central, 2-1, to move to 2-2 in the North Division and 4-3-1 overall.

Goggans will now be considered for NJCAA Goalkeeper of the Week honors on Wednesday.
