Seven Bulldogs named to the All-MACCC Team

Seven members of the Holmes Community College Bulldog soccer team have been named to the All-Mississippi Association of Community Colleges Conference team.

Included on the team are: Jordan Stevens, Matthew Gonzalez, Lando Nichols, Andres Mendez, Rhybert McNab, Carson Favre and Darrell Grantham. Stevens, Gonzalez, Nichols, Mendez and McNab were All-MACCC First Team while Grantham and Favre were All-MACCC Second Team.

Stevens is a freshman from Blacksburg, Va., Gonzalez is a freshman from Helena, Ala., Nichols is a sophomore from Chelsea, Ala., Mendez is a sophomore from Grenada, McNab is a sophomore from Long Beach, Favre is a sophomore from Long Beach and Grantham is a sophomore from Pearl.

On the season, McNab finished with six goals and one assist while Mendez had five goals and three assists, Nichols had two goals and two assists, Grantham had two goals and one assist, and Gonzalez had two assists. Stevens had 1153 minutes in net and had 111 saves. Stevens finished third in the NJCAA.
