RIDGELAND --- The Holmes Community College Bulldogs fell to the Northwest Mississippi Community College Rangers, 2-1, here Friday.

With the loss, the Bulldogs fell to 1-5 overall and 1-2 in the North. Holmes plays Itawamba at 3 p.m. Tuesday.

The Bulldogs got on the scoreboard first in the 25th minute when Kagoma Egide scored on assists from Layton Levingston and Bienvenue Sunzu.

Northwest scored in the 66th minute and 87th minute to pull out the win.
