Lady Bulldogs take two from Meridian, 5-3 and 8-0
GOODMAN --- The Holmes Community College Lady Bulldogs took two games here Saturday from Meridian Community College, 5-3 and 8-0.
Holmes hosts East Mississippi at 2 p.m. Tuesday.
In game one, Elleigh Willis got the start and picked up the win. She went seven innings and gave up three runs on three hits with four strikeouts and one walk. Lanie Phillips, Iris Farve, Neera Bell and Willis each had two hits with Phillips and Willis adding a double each.
In game two, Emmagail Kelley got the start and picked up the win. She went six innings and gave up no runs on six hits with two strikeouts and one walk. AnnaLeigh Jones and McKayla Crowley each had two hits with Crowley and Katelynn Gipson each have a double.
