Lady Bulldogs sweep East Mississippi, 13-0 and 8-0
GOODMAN --- The Holmes Community College Lady Bulldogs took two games Tuesday from East Mississippi Community College, 13-0 and 8-0.
Holmes travels to Gulf Coast on Thursday at 1/3 p.m.
In game one, Elleigh Willis got the start and picked up the win. She went five innings and gave up one hit with five strikeouts and one walk. Lanie Phillips, Leah Kinard and Iris Farve each had two hits with Farve adding a double.
In game two, Neera Bell got the start and picked up the win. She went six innings and gave up two hits with five strikeouts. Phillips, Farve and LaCristia Edwards each had two hits. AnnaLeigh Jones and Edwards each had a two-run homerun while Farve had a solo homerun and Maycee Knight added a double.
