Jamilah Andrews Basketball Camp set for June 16-20

Holmes Community College Head Women's Basketball Coach Jamilah Andrews has set the 2014 Jamilah Andrews Basketball Skills Camp for June 16-June 20 on the Goodman Campus of Holmes Community College.

The Jamilah Andrews Basketball Camp is a fun environment for players of all ages. Each player will learn the fundamentals of the game along with specialized instruction from the Holmes coaching staff and players. Also, each player will take the skills that he/she has learned and apply them in fun, competitive areas such as one-on-one games, three-on-three games, five-on-five games, bump competition, hot shot, and free throw contests.

The staff is comprised of Coach Andrews, who is a former collegiate player at Alabama and women's assistant coach LaTaryl Williams, who played at Ole Miss. Both coaches also played overseas professionally. Members of the 2014 Lady Bulldog team will also be on-hand to help the campers.

Registration is set for June 16 from 7-8:30 a.m. at Frank Branch Coliseum in Goodman. Camp runs from 9 a.m.-3 p.m. each day and from 9 a.m.-noon on June 20. The camp is for ages seven through 18.

The cost of the camp is $100. For more information, contact Coach Andrews at jandrews@holmescc.edu or call (662) 472-9069. For the brochure go to http://www.holmesathletics.com/sports/wbkb/2013-14/files/CAMP_BROCHURE_2_FOR_2013-2014.pdf
