GOODMAN --- The Holmes Community College Lady Bulldogs finished its non-conference schedule here Thursday night with a 61-53 loss to Baton Rouge Community College.
With the loss, the Lady Bulldogs fell to 10-4 overall and have nothing but North Division contests remaining on the regular season schedule. Holmes hosts Mississippi Delta on Tuesday night at 6 p.m. and East Mississippi at 6 p.m. on Thursday night. The games can be watched live at www.holmesccmedia.com.
Holmes led 30-27 at halftime but were outscored 34-23 in the second half by Baton Rouge. Aja Williams led the Lady Bulldogs with 20 points while Tiffany Jones and Carmesha Nalls each had 10. Jones led the Lady Bulldogs with 13 rebounds.
